Fruit Toast Peanut Butter and Apple Porridge


There’s nothing better than starting a cold winters day with a bowl of porridge - we like to think of it as a hug in a bowl. The best thing about porridge is how many different flavours and varieties you can play around with. Our nut butters are the perfect addition to your morning oats to pack a punch of flavour plus giving you a boost of protein and healthy fats to start your day.


We love the combination of our sweetly spiced Fruit Toast peanut butter with granny smith apples, especially when served on top of a bowl of warming oats.

Serves 1

What you need:


  • 1/2 cup rolled oats

  • 1 cup plant-based or dairy milk



  1. Combine oats and milk of your choice in a small saucepan on a gentle heat. Keep stirring for 5-10 minutes until the oats have cooked (you may need more or less milk depending on the oats you use).

  2. Once cooked, transfer into a bowl and top with apple slices, freeze-dried apple & raspberries, pumpkin seeds and a generous spoonful of Fix and Fogg Fruit Toast peanut butter.

  3. Enjoy!


  • If you can’t get your hands on any freeze-died fruit, you can swap it out for regular dried fruit. which is just as delicious.

  • This recipe will work well with almost all of our nut butters. Our favourite nut butters to top this porridge with are Fruit Toast peanut butter, Crunchy Almond Butter or our Everything Butter.

  • If oats aren’t your thing, you can make the porridge with buckwheat or quinoa flakes.

  • You can cook the oats in the microwave if you’re short on time or if you want to make this at work.
